Description
English: Pandora trying to close the box that she had opened out of curiosity. At left, the evils of the world escape. Based on a work by F. S. Church. In Greek mythology, the character Pandora had a large box that she was forbidden to open. When she did, all the troubles escaped except Hope, which the Greeks thought of as deceptive.
