ކޮނޑު އަކީ ދެއަތް ހަށިގަނޑާ ގުޅުވާދޭ މަގާމެވެ. ކޮނޑު އުފެދިފައިވަނީ މައިގަނޑު 3 ކަށި ގަނޑެއް ގުޅިގެންނެވެ. އެއީ ކޮނޑު ކަށިގަނޑު(Clavicle)، ބޮބިފަޅި ކަށިގަނޑު(Scapula) ، އަދި މުލައްދަނޑި ކަށިގަނޑު (Humerus) އެވެ. ހަމަމިހެން ކޮނޑު އުފެދުމުގައި މިބުނި ކަށިތަކާއި ގުޅިފައިވާ ލިގަމެންޓް ތަކާއި، ޓެންޑަން ތަކާއި، އަދި މަސްތައް ޝާމިލް ވެއެވެ.
